Linn lies along the north and south shores of beautiful Geneva Lake.  

The Town has two public boat launch facilities to access the 5,401-acre, freshwater lake. Linn’s two boat launches are accessible from the south end of the lake on Linn Road and Hillside Road, which provide swimming beaches, and parking facilities.  

PAY MACHINES 

Pay machines are located at boat launches to purchase a daily or annual pass. Launch users must pay before launching. Machines accept debit or credit card payments only. Cash or check payments are acceptable at the Town Clerk’s Office during business hours.  

VETERANS OR ACTIVE MILITARY DUTY 

In recognition of their contributions to our country, Linn offers free or reduced-price boat launch passes to veterans and active-military members.  

Linn resident veterans or active-duty military can access annual free launch pass cards at the Town Hall. Proof of residency and military service is required.  

Non-resident veterans or active-duty military can purchase a reduced-price day pass at a launch pay machine. Annual passes are available at the Town Clerk’s Office. Proof of military service is required.  

BEHAVIOR POLICY 

All launch users are expected to be respectful towards boat launch attendants and other launch patrons. Discrimination, abusive, or harassing behavior will not be tolerated.
