Press Release: October 7th Town Elector Meeting requesting to adopt a resolution to support contractual Fire/EMS staffing: A Town Elector Meeting is scheduled on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Linn Town Hall.  The Town is requesting to include contractual Fire/EMS staffing in the Town’s tax levy to reduce borrowing costs while ensuring the Town continues providing 24/7 Fire/EMS Services. Approval of this resolution will support the Town’s goal of reaching a long-term agreement with the City of Lake Geneva to continue providing Linn residents with reliable and quality fire and emergency medical services. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, ELECTORS HAVE A CHOICE TO  PARTICIPATE IN-PERSON OR REMOTELY.

To participate remotely you must be a Town Elector[1] eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting and MUST pre-register to participate by Dec. 16, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. with the Town Clerk at clerk@townoflinn.wi.gov and must provide information to substantiate that you are a Town Elector including yourname, age, address and phone number. Because of technical limitations, anyone participating remotely cannot be provided with the means to vote anonymously.

Each Remote Elector Registrant will be provided with a Video Conference Access Link, a Video Passcode, and a Meeting ID.
