Fire/EMS Staffing Information Session: Monday, Sept. 23rd at 6:00pm: The Town of Linn is hosting an information session on Monday, September 23rd at the Town Hall to discuss the Fire/EMS staffing proposal to be considered by Town Electors on Monday, October 7th at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall. The proposal is to include contractual City of Lake Geneva Fire/EMS staffing in the Town's tax levy to reduce borrowing costs while ensuring the Town continues providing 24/7 Fire/EMS Services.  The Town presentation will provide an overview of the Town of Linn & City of Lake Geneva Fire/EMS Partnership. Earlier this year, the Town reached a one-year agreement with the City to provide 24/7 Fire/EMS staffing at the Linn Firehouse. The Town created a webpage to share information and commonly asked questions about the partnership: https://townoflinn.wi.gov/town-of-linn-city-of-lake-geneva-fire-ems-partnership/ Information session attendees can join in-person or remotely. Street sealing schedule: Academy Rd, tomorrow – Friday

From tomorrow through Friday, the following streets will be sealed: 

Academy Road – Linton Rd. to S Lakeshore Dr.
Hillcrest Drive – Academy Rd. to End
Ingeles Lane – Academy Rd to End
Academy Lane – Academy Rd. to End

Today, Fahrner Asphalt Sealers will deliver door notices to all properties located on streets to be sealed. Temporary “No Parking” signs will be installed. Construction work will range from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Loose aggregate will be swept and vaccumed by next week.

After roads are opened, please drive slowly, and avoid sharp turns and quick stops for 7-10 days.
