Snow & Ice Parking Regulations: Starting November 15th, street parking on Town roads is prohibited from the start of winter weather events, including snow, freezing rain, and/or sleet, until after snow and/or ice are removed. The purpose is for safe and efficient use of Town roads.  Signs were installed to advise road users throughout the Town. Highway Department Position Postings

Positions Available from late fall 2023 until April 2024 

Position 1: Seasonal/as needed for snow and ice control; up to 32 hours of additional work per week. Range: $20-$30/hour

Position 2: On call/ As needed for snow and ice control. Range: $30-$35 / hour

Duties include but are not limited to snow and ice control activities. Seasonal position will also be responsible for tree work, brush removal, and road maintenance work.
